Ausfilm Announces New CEO

Ausfilm is delighted to announce that Jackie O’Sullivan has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer, starting 10th August 2009. O’Sullivan has held a number of senior positions in the Australian and UK film and television industries which provide her with a unique insight and experience for the role. She replaces Caroline Pitcher whose term as CEO concludes on 21st August.

Jackie has experience as a Producer, Production Development Executive, Business Affairs Executive and General Manager in both Australia and the UK. She has an extensive knowledge of the Australian Federal Screen Production Incentives and their role in attracting international footloose production to Australia. This breadth of experience and Jackie’s industry contacts will bring a vibrant dimension to Ausfilm.

Ausfilm’s Board thanks Caroline Pitcher for her enormous contribution to the organisation and the wider industry over the past 2 years. Caroline has led Ausfilm with vitality and dedication and has contributed exceptionally to the Ausfilm business, particularly in the areas of policy and marketing.
