The Australian Government has updated its Guidelines for the 15% Location Offset and the 15% PDV Offset. The main changes from the previous version are:
- Addition to information on publicity and promotion expenditure
- Amendment to information on arm’s length agreements
- Amendment to copy of the completed production
The Australian Federal Government screen production incentives have no cap and there is no sunset clause. Payments are prompt.

Film Friendly New South Wales
The New South Wales government has recently put into place a Local Government Filming Protocol, which makes it easier for filmmakers to work on locations around the state by giving all Councils one set of rules for processing approvals.
