Time Zones
Australia has three time zones: Eastern Standard Time (Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria), Central Standard Time (South Australia and Northern Territory), and Western Standard Time (Western Australia). During the Australian summer (northern hemisphere winter), the southern states (ACT, NSW, SA, TAS, VIC, WA) apply Daylight Saving, while Queensland and Northern Territory are on the same time all year round.
