Policy
In addition to its primary goal of content attraction to Australia, Ausfilm also develops policy positions for the international screen-services industry, and communicates these to Government. Ausfilm submits to major reviews (both in Australia and overseas) which have the potential to impact the flow of internationally-footloose screen production and/or Post/Digital/VFX (PDV) work to Australia. In addition to its policy work, Ausfilm also convenes the Federal Film-Friendly Forum (FFFF), which meets twice yearly. Comprising representatives from Federal departments and agencies capable of impacting on the decision to facilitate or locate internationally-mobile footloose production and/or PDV in Australia, the FFFF is kept up to date on developments in the sector, and receives early warning of major productions coming to Australia.
