City of Gold Coast

The Council of the City of Gold Coast (Film Gold Coast) strongly supports the film industry and has an established Film Attraction Program to support production companies to film in the city.
Ausfilm Member since 2003

This is unique for local government in Australia and is independent from the filming incentives provided through the federal and state governments. The program incorporates a suite of services, one component being a financial assistance package that may assist to bring your production to the Gold Coast. Through our partnership with Screen Queensland and Village Roadshow Studios, we are able to connect you with relevant expertise in the city to ensure your production is up and running as smoothly as possible.
