Australia China Film Industry Exchange 2016
The Australia-China Film Industry Exchange is a partnership event, now in its 7th year, held between Ausfilm, Screen Australia and The Australian Embassy Beijing to promote film and television collaborations between Australian and Chinese filmmakers.
The Australia-China Film Industry Exchange is an annual event held in partnership between Ausfilm, Screen Australia and the Australian Embassy in Beijing.
In 2016 the annual mission was held in April to coincide with the Beijing International Film Festival and Market.
The Australian delegation included Ausfilm members from picture post, sound post and VFX companies and screen agencies from NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
The delegation met with 12 leading Chinese filmmakers and production companies over two days at the Grant Hyatt Beijing.
The delegation also attended an intimate networking event with the Chinese film and television industry, hosted by the Australian Ambassador, Jan Adams.
