Australia is currently experiencing record levels of international screen production activity across Australia and as Ausfilm’s Director of Marketing, Communications, and Industry Partnerships, this is your chance to provide critical leadership to a high-performing team across marketing, communications, and industry relations within Australia’s peak film and television industry association.­

What you’ll gain:

An opportunity to identify, develop and oversee the execution of Ausfilm’s global marketing and communications strategies and multiple channel content and work closely with the Ausfilm Los Angeles team with event activations in the LA film and television market.

Actively working with Ausfilm’s membership of outstanding screen businesses, government agencies and industry stakeholders to position Australia as a leading destination of choice for international film and television content creators.

What you’ll bring:

As the Director of Marketing, Communications and Industry Partnerships you will lead the marketing and communications team and work to promote the Australian and State Governments’ screen production incentives, Australia’s production capabilities and provide marketing support to Ausfilm member businesses across all states in Australia, overseeing a team of 2+ marketing and digital specialists.

You’ll be a strategic and creative thinker with exceptional interpersonal skills. You’ll be an inspiring leader who is outcome driven and works collaboratively across teams and stakeholders. 

You will ensure that Ausfilm’s brand and reputation are maintained and promoted following Ausfilm’s vision and values.

  • At least 10+ years experience with marketing and communications expertise and proven experience delivering successful digital, marketing and communications campaigns and sponsorship partnerships
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the international and Australian screen sector 
  • A passionate and collaborative leader able to oversee and inspire teams from planning to execution
  • Experience in detailed reporting for Board and Government agencies
  • Demonstrate the ability to drive new business and revenue targets
