NSW GOVERNMENT THROUGH SCREEN NSW ADDS $175M TO ITS MADE IN NSW FUND

Great news for both the Australian and international film and TV industry with the New South Wales Government announcing an additional AU$175 million (US$123m) added to the existing state government’s Made in NSW fund for screen production.

The Made in NSW fund will be administered by Screen NSW to attract high-end international film and TV production and support major new Australian film and TV drama. This is an extra $35 million per year over the next five years, on top of the AU$40 million of the existing Made in NSW fund and is available to apply now.

“With generous screen production incentives, diverse locations, world-class studios, and a successful effort by Australia’s state and federal governments to contain the Coronavirus, filming in Australia offers producers and storytellers so many practical and creative opportnities. The Made in NSW fund further highlights the exciting opportunities to film in Australia.”
