Screen NSW celebrates the NSW-made films set for the big screen with Leah Purcell’s The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson, opening the Melbourne International Film Festival on August 5.

Joining Purcell’s feature is a strong line-up of NSW-made feature films and documentaries, which boasts eight out of the nine titles supported by Screen NSW.

The NSW titles featuring in the program include feature films, Ablaze, Araatika: Rise Up!, Friends & Strangers, The Drover’s Wife The Legend of Molly Johnson, Uluru and the Magician, and documentaries including Geeta, I’m Wanita, River, and Wash My Soul in the River’s Flow
