Queensland is home to world-class Post, Digital and Visual Effects companies, facilities and expert talent, with a strong track record of attracting high-profile, international projects into the state.

The state’s 15 per cent Post, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) Incentive (administrated by agency Screen Queensland) is open to international and national projects with a minimum spend of AU$250,000 in Queensland.

The incentive is the most competitive on Australia’s eastern border, and can be used in conjunction with the Australian Government’s Location, Post-Production or Producer Offsets, as well as Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Incentive.

Queensland has several full-service, visual effects, animation and sound facilities, including Ausfilm members:

Alt.VFX (Ausfilm Platinum Member)

Resin (Ausfilm Platinum Member)

Rising Sun Pictures (Ausfilm Platinum Member)

Cutting Edge (Ausfilm Corporate Member)

The Post Lounge (Ausfilm Corporate Member)

The Rebel Fleet (Ausfilm Corporate Member)
